Mental Health Pro's Product Development ApproachOur wellness and mental health tools reflect the combined expertise of our team of health experts. They hail from a diverse range of disciplines, including:
Our ProductsThe team seeks out highly innovative technologies (web portals, webinars, Automatic Voice Recording, health trackers, teleconferences, streaming video, online payment and scheduling). The team collaborates in using these technologies to create a variety of products specifically designed to meet the needs of clients seeking help for mental health problems, and the therapists who assist them. The products are designed for ease of client use in learning about and contacting and registering with therapists, completing assessments, learning about how to improve their health (text, video, workshops, teleconferences), and resolving negative thoughts, emotions, or behavior patterns (journaling, worksheets, workshops). The team also creates products to help therapists register clients confidentially, assign homework (text to read, videos, teleconferences) follow up with clients (automated reminders, email) and track client progress (assessments, journals, health trackers). The products also help therapists maintain contact with clients after therapy is finished (e-zines, newsletters) and help therapists to increase referrals through education in marketing, practice and product development, and professional education. Our StandardsBefore prospective authors can join our team, they submit a number of writing samples and then perform a trial assignment for evaluation. Reviewed by our Editorial Team and Chief Medical Editor for accuracy, thoroughness, comprehension, clarity and objectivity, the very best are then chosen for the final qualification process. After articles are written, the information presented goes through a strict process of verification for scientific accuracy, consistency of style, objectivity and balance. Scientific references are included so interested readers can review source materials. Mental Health Pros gives preference to double-blind, placebo-controlled trials in humans. When this standard of evidence is unavailable, Mental Health Pros occasionally refers to animal or test-tube studies. Weak studies are noted, as are studies with only preliminary results. |
